tool available.
3/27/95 *** Version 2.13 *********************************
Minor bug fix in the Individual 18 Hole Stats and Individual
9 Hole Stats reports. The average par 4's was being over-
written by the average par 5's in both the screen report and
the printed report. Fixed....
2/20/95 *** Version 2.12 *********************************
I have split the Individual Player Stats into two separate
reports. They both still have a complete breakdown of stats
for the player but now there is a report for 9 and 18 hole
statistics. This makes it much easier to see what the stats
for those who play only 9 or 18 hole rounds.
2/18/95 *** Version 2.11 *********************************
When entering a round I have eliminated the message "GameHelp
needs a home course for this player to calculate a local
handicap." Instead, it now just looks at the course for the
current round being entered and checks to see if it is your
local course. If it is, it simply calculates the local course
handicap. If it is not, the program makes no calculation.
If only two rounds have been entered and one of them was deleted,
the program would exit to DOS with an error message. This has
been corrected.
When displaying the "Individual Player Stats" the program would
not show the number of rounds being used to make the handicap
calculations. This has been corrected.
With the shareware version, if you entered two rounds of golf
and delete one or both of the rounds and the tried to enter
another round you were unable to do that. In order to enter a
new round after deleting a round, you must "PACK" the databases.
Packing total eliminates the deleted rounds thus allowing you
to enter one or two more rounds.
2/12/95 *** Version 2.1 *********************************
Inadvertently allowed only one round to be entered. This
was insufficient to kick in the handicapping. I have corrected
that minor oversight. You need at least 2 rounds to start
generating a handicap.
2/10/95 *** Version 2.0 *********************************
GameHelp has taken a giant step in the right direction by
adding the ability to calculate handicaps. The formulas
used by this feature have taken a considerable amount of
time to develop and refine. The result is a handicap which
is very close to that calculated by using the methods put
forth by the USGA (which are propriatary to them).
The handicaps calculated by GameHelp are meant to be used
ONLY as a guide to you and IN NO WAY can they be constued
as being a certified or "Official" handicap. Only agencies
licensed by the USGA may issue an "Official" handicap.
GameHelp will now calculate 9 and 18 hole handicaps as well
as local course handicaps.
1/12/95 *** Version 1.10 ********************************
We've added additional help screens in parts of the program
where no help was previously available. These include help
for selecting a printer, packing databases and purging all
records.
When entering your information for a round, we've added "In
Sand" and "Sand Saves". This is used to calculate your sand
save percentage.
On the Individual Player statistics report we've added your
average score for all rounds played.
On the Reports submenu we've added the ability to print a
"Stat Sheet". You can now take this out to the course with
you and keep track of your fairways, greens, putts, etc. right
on this sheet.
